What was the problem?

Our customer used a metal insert nut for ski and snowboard manufacture. This nut used to be integrated into the basic surface with a special process.

After a certain period he desired to enhance this product and thus ensure greater safety of the skier.

What solution was developed?

Our development team studied the existing product carefully. The modification was designed on the technology of gushing the metal nut into the plastic casing of proper size and shape.

What benefits does our solution bring?

• Enhanced safety for the user as much larger forces have to be applied in order to tear this insert nut away than with the product used by the skier before,
• the constructional solution enables simpler inserting of the nut into the surface,
• the use of plastic and metal reduces the final product‘s manufacturing costs.
